Intended to be a versatile resource suitable for use in Maundy Thursday and/or Good Friday worship services, it is an excellent selection for choirs of any size thanks in part to its beautifully written and supportive piano accompaniment. An optional chamber orchestration by Ed Hogan for flute, clarinet, horn, violin, and cello is also available. Finally, for those wishing to expand this work into a complete Easter presentation, a list of complementary Palm Sunday and/or Easter Sunday anthems is also included.
